Supper Time!

Being the bachelor I am, I have recently taken a fascination with cooking. As my friends will vouch for me, I am a big fan of international cooking. My top favorite types of food are Indian, Korean, Mexican and Thai. Well one of my most favored Korean dishes is Japchae (잡채). This is the third time that I have personally prepared this dish and I am beginning to get more efficient at making it. Several years ago when I was studying Korean at a local Korean church here in town, I can remember trying this dish for the first time.

Japchae is a combination of potato starch noodles called Dangmyun, onions, green onions, garlic, carrots, sesame seeds, etc. If you are interested in trying to prepare this dish for yourself, I would highly recommend a site called Epicurious. I am also including the link for this particular recipe! Epicurious- Japchae Recipe

  1. Looks quite toothsome! Is that beef that you put in there?

    • Thanks for commenting! Yes, I used ground beef because I had some in the fridge. I think japchae usually has sliced beef in it though, but it still tasted great! 😉
