Goodbye 2025, Hello 2026!

I just wanted to provide a quick update from us here in Hong Kong. 2025 has been a significantly better year for us, but it has still proved challenging. We have had several health scares within our extended families, but to God be the Glory, He helped prove them out of hardship. There are still long-term difficulties health-wise with those family members, but God is caring for them step by step.

Some other areas that we are thankful for this year were that our youngest boy, Jonah, who was born in Hong Kong, was dedicated at our church here in Hong Kong. It was great to spend that time with our community here. But we also traveled to Macau to have our two youngest boys, who had not been baptized yet, be baptized. While they may be too young to fully understand what happened that day, the Anglican church has another event in adulthood called Confirmation. This is where children or adults who have been baptized make a conscious decision to dedicate and live their lives for the Lord. So, Elizabeth and I will continuously pray for that day for both Jonah and Daniel, while training them in the meantime.

On another note, Hong Kong has also been easier to adjust to in year two than it was in our first year. Little Daniel had finally been accepted into a kindergarten, and now his Cantonese has gotten very good! God has provided for us to stay at my current school here in Hong Kong for another two years, and the balance is getting easier. There is frankly a lot to be thankful for this 2025, but we are extremely excited for 2026. We have a couple of exciting announcements that I will be making in the next couple of months as we get closer to the end of the school year. I cannot wait to tell you all! God bless you all and may the Lord keep you close to His will in 2026!
