Mysteries and police dramas have increasingly become a popular way of how I spend a large amount of my free time. I have been watching everything from episodes of Poirot on PBS to episodes of the new Sherlock Holmes from the BBC. These mysteries or police dramas would also include E.U. (Emergency Unit) a Hong Kong police drama, Boss season 1 and season 2 (another Japanese police drama). But one of my favorite police dramas is one called Keizoku which is a mix of detective stories, scifi and humor. If I could explain it to something that westerners may be familiar with, I would say its a funny Japanese X-Files dealing with people with supernatural abilities, even though I never watched X-Files. Keizoku 2 has actually been out for quite sometime, but the movie is more recent. I have been watching the torrent sites for sometime concerning this movie, but unfortunately I am not sure when it will be released to DVD. I occasionally watch the trailer since I cannot see the movie. With the movie still being new, my guess is it will not be available to download or purchase from YesAsia for a few more months.

I’ll be honest with you all and say that Erida Toda is a major plus to the show! In fact if it was not for her, I would not have discovered Boss, Keizoku or Liar Game. I first discovered her when I watched the live action of Death Note and since then I have been a huge fan of Erika Toda.
